Owners understand parking at BIC is tight. If you plan to bring multiple vehicles, there will likely be a parking shortage under your rental unit. If you plan to bring a trailer, and it will not fit completely in the owner's assigned parking space, you must make arrangements to launch your boat and store your trailer off-site (see Trailer Parking section below for nearby facilities). Trailers without a confirmed parking space are not permitted on BIC association property at any time due to limited maneuvering space. Guest cars, trucks and trailers are not permitted to drive over curbs or drive on any grassy area in BIC.
Before arriving, be sure you confirm with the unit owner exactly where you are permitted to park. This guide is designed to help answer questions concerning parking in an effort to make your stay problem free.
Violations are subject to window stickers, ticketing, fines and towing
Be aware of how many spaces your unit has available for parking. Just because a unit may have 2 spaces, it does not mean that they are available. If an owner is storing a car or a boat in the unit's designated spaces, you may only have space for 1 vehicle.
Building Parking Rules:
Visitor Parking passes for each unit must be displayed in vehicles at all times.
Vehicles must fit completely within assigned parking spaces.
Do not block fire lanes at any time! No exceptions!
Do not block stairwell access to any building. No Exceptions!
Do not block any walking paths since these are used for walking, biking and golf carts.
Do not park anywhere but in your assigned space.
Note to Renters: BIC is not a full rental property. Many owners do not rent their condos.
RVs, ATVs (gas or electric) and gas golf carts are not permitted on BIC association property.
All units come with 2 parking spaces directly under the condo. Again, if an owner has stored car or boat at his unit, you are renting a unit with limited parking and may only have space for 1 vehicle.
All units come with 1 parking space (marked) directly under the condo. There are shared visitor spaces which are first come first served. A maximum of 2 vehicles allowed by any single unit. Trailers may be stored by owners in their assigned spaces if they do not rent their units.
